Just to make it clear the situation below is just fir entertainment purposes and for laughs:
Maricella, you told us you had an urgent personal matter and, as the understanding team at Tacos El Huatusi, we trusted you.
What we did not expect was to see you at 12:17 p.m., live on the giant screen at Estadio Azteca during the World Cup, celebrating Mexico’s goal with enough enthusiasm to make us question whether you secretly play for the national team.
Up to that point, we could understand it.
What we cannot understand is how an “urgent personal matter” somehow turned into a flight to Mexico, a World Cup ticket, a seat at Estadio Azteca, and a nationally televised appearance where you looked happier than anyone has ever looked while supposedly dealing with an emergency.
We respect your privacy and will not ask for details regarding your personal matter.
However, we would appreciate clarification on how that personal matter resulted in your appearance on the giant screen, waving at the camera like you had been preparing for that moment your entire life.
We would also like to thank you for the unexpected marketing opportunity. Seeing the Tacos El Huatusi hat on international television was certainly not part of our advertising budget this year.
That being said, while we appreciate the brand promotion, we would have preferred to see you wearing your Tacos El Huatusi uniform at work instead of wearing our hat at the World Cup.
After reviewing the footage several times, management has concluded that not only were you having a great time, but you appeared to be having the best time.
Our investigation remains ongoing.
Please report to work tomorrow with the same smile you gave 80,000 people and whatever level of confidence it takes to call out of work and then end up on international television.
