Parvathy's Kitchen Parvathys Kitchen serves Indian cuisine. Having grown up in an Indian home in South Africa my mother taught me how to prepare great tasting foods.

Parvathy's Spice Shop and Kitchen came about because we have a passion for food and love creating delicious dishes from using a variety of spices and herbs. My husband an ex-restaurateur and current food service director has inspired me to do what I love, share my talents and great cuisine with others. We have decided to share our love for spices and great food with those around us. Recipes passe

Watching both my mum and grandmother cook and grind spices encouraged the thought of sharing this knowledge and taste with others. What better name to call our shop than after mum, Parvathy. Our Mission is to share great foods with others. Our Vision is to encourage others to be creative and try new tastes. Come and visit us on Friday nights at the Artisans Alley Farmers Market from 6pm-9pm and "spice up your life," with an experience and a taste in your mouth you won't forget. Choose from our light home-made snacks and home-style meals, starting with tasty samosas, a roti roll or aromatic basmati rice bowls with our signature chicken tikka masala or with a vegan/vegetarian curry, or simply indulge on a hot cup of home-made masala chai, mango lassi or rose milk.
