🌸💖 Celebrate Mother’s Day at Cook’s 💖🌸
At Cook’s in DeLand, family tradition runs deep, and the women of the Cook family have been a big part of that story for generations.

From co-founder Willa Cook, who helped build the original Holiday House alongside Bob Cook, to Star Cook, who welcomed guests and kept things running behind the scenes, their impact is felt in every meal we serve.

And it doesn’t stop there. Let's not forget that our Mother-in-Laws also play a big part in our lives. At 94 years young, Star’s mother Betty Hubbard still lends a helping hand during the holidays, reminding us what tradition is all about. ❤️

For 67 years, we’ve been honored to serve families, and especially the mothers who bring everyone together.

Calling all non profit service clubs needing a meeting place at no charge, we offer a warm and cozy space to have your next meeting. The 125 year old Carriage House at Cook’s has been fully restored and can accommodate 40 and is also centrally located across from Stetson University.
The Carriage House is located behind Cooks by Spiral Staircase.

🌿 Planting season is in full swing at Cook’s! 🌿
Farm-to-table isn’t something we just picked up along the way — it’s how we’ve done things since 1959.

Out here on scenic Lake Winona, I’m hard at work in our 4,000-square-foot organic garden, putting in row after row of potatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, eggplant, tomatoes, squash, green beans, onions, beets, kale, collards — and I’m sure I’m missing a few!

Back at the restaurant, our herb gardens are already flourishing, bringing fresh, vibrant flavors to the meals we prepare for you every day.

From the garden straight to your plate, fresh is always what we’re serving.
