Co fermented coffee is a process in which dehydrated fruits and spices are added during the roasting process to add different flavors.

This is different from flavored coffees you may be used to at the gas station with ā€œFrench vanillaā€ or ā€œhazelnutā€ flavored coffee these are just oil sprays used to artificially flavor.

Co fermentation is more like brewing beer where brewers add dehydrated fruits to their ales to flavor in a natural way.

Iā€™ve never had a co-fermented coffee before and I was a little scared it would be overpowering. I was surprised how natural it tasted. Many coffees on their own have unique flavors that can mimic fruits, this tastes like one of those to me.

Really interesting process and I love experimental things like this that help push the industry forward to new and exciting places.
