To all of our Huey's followers yes thanks to the several individuals that gave the heads up and pointed out that Hoppin Hots has closed. Because of your tenacity to see us come back we had reached a tentative agreement to take them over and return Huey's to Andersonville. But we learned in our due diligence the Hoppin Hots space will not work for Huey's due to the bathroom situation (one small bathroom in the rear of the space behind the kitchen) and we would be limited to 10 indoor seats.

Please keep your eyes and ears open for any other possible opportunity for Huey's to return...it might be either take a space over or a shared concept. Here is an idea we had but it was passed on was that we combine with George's Ice Cream - just an idea if you know of anything else where this might work. All of our thanks - Huey

Just a note to our Huey's followers that we have been searching for a storefront location in Andersonville area but have not found the "right" location yet to re-open As you know retail space is extremely expensive right now and it makes it harder because we do not serve liquor. If any of our followers know a location feel free to contact us here at Facebook and we can then look into it. thanks Huey

Just an FYI to our loyal followers of Huey's Hot Dogs...we have recently RE-STARTED our delivery service through Grubhub (www.grubhub.com) on our full Huey's menu (minus the Italian beef) and I am working with 2 restaurants and we can deliver as far north as Touhy (7200 north) and west to Western (2400 west) and then as far south as 18th street on the south side. In the mean time we continue to search for a "bricks and mortar" location in the Andersonville area. We have decided to go the full delivery route and are pleased to work with Grubhub. Thanks for your continual patronage and I will continue to keep you posted on any further news in the future...Steve

Good Morning to all the people that follow Huey's......the long standing battle with the new building owners has been resolved and we have been forced from the spot early. I am not going to dwell on them nor some of our business neighbors--but honestly not the type of people that you would want to do be involved with nor do any business with no matter how they come off publically. It was there intent to have Huey's move and yes they have won. In my opinion that chase for the almighty dollar gets in the way of being a good person and these are some of the things we found out....okay not to dwell on that.....let's be positive.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS - Huey's is in negotiations talking with 2 other sandwich places to merge together and bring our long time favorites to you once again in Andersonville.

Please stay tuned for the new address and the re-opening of Huey's.

In the mean time the complete staff and ownership is ever so thankful and grateful to our dear and compassionate customers...so please stick with us and we hope to be re-opened soon.

Due to circumstances beyond our control Hueys will be temporarily closed.

Unfortunately we don't have a lot of information yet, but we will return soon!
