We recently learned that the Urban Wildlife Institute at Lincoln Park Zoo has a camera installed in the forest preserve behind Superdawg Wheeling 🐺🦌🦝🐿️🐇 It’s part of their important work understanding our local ecosystem, and wow there are some super animal pictures that we’re very happy to share with you!

Superdawg Drive-In x Off Color Brewing merch drop is finally happening!!

Join us at Off Color Brewing’s Mousetrap on TUESDAY, AUGUST 25th at 5pm for a Beer for Superdawg Keep the Glass Night and a “super” special beer release! You get a pour of Beer for Superdawg and you Keep the Glass and we do $5 refills all night. The first two hundred people will get a Superdawg sample with their glass.

And did we mention that there will be t-shirts? This sweet new collab pocket t from Custom Colors will first be available that night at Mousetrap and then eventually online and at Superdawg Wheeling.

And then there’s the super special new beer that will be on draft and available to-go for the first time that evening.

Brewed in collaboration with Superdawg Drive-in, Dressed* is a blend of native fermented wild ale aged in wine barrels with tangerine peel and Belgian style Blonde ale aged in Blackberry Brandy barrels. This beer was created as a nod to the complexity, and disparate nature, of the ingredients of the Chicago Style classic Superdawg - a pure beef hot dog dressed with all the trimming. Golden mustard, tangy piccalilli, kosher dill pickle, chopped Spanish onions, and a memorable hot pepper. A similar testament to the credo that artistry is seeking to create a whole is greater than the sum of its parts. They say a Chicago dog is dragged through the garden. One might say that this beer was dragged through the barrel.

Continuing our lineup of seasonal Off Color offerings we’re back again with Beer for Superdawg Yuzu Sour Ale. This sessionable Berliner Weiss with Yuzu is tart, refreshing, and is quite simply delicious. Think big adult lemonade energy. Updated can art channels the bright, clear-skied days of summer and throws out a nod to the iconic concrete beaches of Chicago.

If you've driven down Milwaukee Ave this summer or kept your eyes peeled in your neighborhood, you may have noticed the Willem de Kooning inspired art work around town! The Art Institute's 'Project Windows' have been popping up during the summer for years, and we're so glad to be a part of it!
Please vote for your favorite in each neighborhood - we're partial to the one at the corner of Milwaukee, Devon, and Nagle! (link in comments)
