You may have tried the lamb bolognese at FIG Restaurant; at The Ordinary, we take our cue from the original ragu alla bolognese, which is braised in milk, not tomato. This one was made with ground pork from Tank, tossed with our hand-cut tagliatelle—a great option for those of you looking for seafood alternatives!

Arguably, the greatest thing about tomato season is a simple tomato sandwich. Our Tomato Tonnato captures the essence of the tomato sandwich: perfectly ripe heirloom tomatoes GrowFood Carolina | Non Profit | Food Hub and brioche from girlnextdough toasted in clarified butter, draped in a thin blanket of luxurious tonnato sauce. A creamy and briny blend of oil-preserved tuna, capers, and anchovy. Tonnato may have a “face for radio”, but we can’t stop finding ways to eat it.

Starting Saturday, August 1, The Ordinary will open at 4 p.m. An extra hour for oysters, martinis, seafood towers, and dinner.

We’ll be welcoming guests and taking reservations through 9 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, and through 10 p.m. Friday & Saturday.

Closed Tuesdays.
