For all of you wanting to follow Plows journey forward—here’s a brief backstory:
I’m 2,000 miles away in the small town of Grass Valley, California, my mom—an early and fearless restaurateur—opened a little place called Mr. Charley’s over four decades ago. Over the years, it’s had more reinventions than a plow in winter… from Charlie’s Angels to countless other “Charley” versions. But it all started with me—yep, my mom named it after yours truly. 🧒
Some of my earliest memories are rooted in that place:
There’s a rumor floating that Charlie’s Café might be closing this Friday. 🥲💔
I’ll keep you posted.
S.O.S. … What does it mean to you?
Save. Our. S________! Let’s fill in the blank together.
PLOW believes Main Streets are the backbone of America. What did we learn in Cambridge and how can we help others avoid the pitfalls of small business?
The photos I’m sharing are in honor of my Mom and where it all began. Because truth be told, no sauce, no spice—no matter how fancy—can compare to fresh.
🍳 Fresh eggs
🍅 Fresh tomatoes
🥒 Fresh cucumbers
🍯 And a touch of crystalline honey from our farm in Wisconsin...
All mixed with a little bit of love = one unforgettable breakfast from Momma.
I’m headed out on a Hot August road trip across the 🇺🇸 USA, and I’d love for you to follow along. I’ll be sharing stories, memories, and celebrating the Main Streets and local businesses that shape us.
👉 Follow, share, and stay tuned!
Cheers to family roots, small towns, and the people who make them special.
