Almost time for our Wednesday free wine tasting! Each week we feature different wines from around the world. Drop by between 5:30-7:30 to taste. No reservations required. This week’s lineup:
Semillon | El Enemigo | Argentina - Tropical fruit, spice, honey, acacia, vanilla on the nose. Lemon, apricot, toasted almond on the palate.
Chardonnay | Textbook | Sonoma - Classic cali chard. light oak.
Claretta | La Vaquita Naturel | Argentina - A playful and expressive natural wine from Mendoza, Argentina. Crafted using a traditional claret-style method, this wine blends red and white grapes (typically Malbec and Torrontés) in a co-fermentation, producing a unique pink-hued wine with bright fruit, floral aromas, and natural vitality. Vibrant, juicy, and perfect for fans of chilled reds or structured rosés.
Pinot Noir | Argyle | Oregon - highlights the elegance and complexity of the Willamette Valley AVA, showcasing the purity of fruit and lively texture the region has to offer. Delicate fermentation and gentle pressing enhanced this wine’s silky mouthfeel. The wine showcases both dark and red cherry flavors, as well as black tea and spice accents. On the palate, fresh, vibrant acidity and polished tannins frame the flavors, while adding precise and persistent length.
