BREATHE • RELEASE • RECEIVE 🌙

Join us Thursday, October 22nd for an evening of breath, vibration, rest and reconnection.

Under a Waxing Gibbous Moon in Pisces, we’re gathering as the lunar light moves toward fullness — a beautiful moment for softening the nervous system, listening inward and making space for what is ready to emerge.

With the Sun completing its journey through Libra, the evening carries themes of balance, harmony and restoration, while dreamy Pisces invites us out of the thinking mind and back into breath, body, sound and intuition. 🌙♓️✨

We’ll begin with a 90-minute guided Breathwork & Sound Bath, then gently return to earth over a traditional Cream Tea at Emma’s Tea Spot.

Come exactly as you are.
Bring a mat. Bring water. Bring a blanket. Bring something you’d like to release — and something you’d like to call toward fullness. Ecstatic breathing, screaming and laughing included.

Thursday, October 22, 2026
7–9pm | $45
📍 Emma’s Tea Spot — 4337 Harford Road
🫖 Cream Tea included
✨ Book through our website

Waxing Moon • Pisces Moon • Breath • Sound • Tea • Restoration

🌔 Under a waxing Pisces Moon, we breathe what has been held and make room for what wants to become. Every two weeks at Emma’s Tea Spot

Victorian Death Culture: Spirit Photography, Mourning Etiquette & the Art of Remembering the Dead

The Victorians were obsessed with death. And honestly…they were onto something. This Halloween season, step into the Victorian parlor and discover a world where death was public, ritualized, beautifully memorialized—and impossible to ignore.

They photographed their dead.
They wore mourning clothes for years.
They turned a loved one’s hair into jewelry.

They covered the mirrors.
They feared being buried alive.
They held séances to speak with the dead.

And then there were the Memento Mori—objects created to remind us of one unavoidable truth: we are all going to die.

Join a local death doula for an entertaining and thought-provoking Victorian Parlor Talk exploring the era’s extraordinary relationship with death—and what their customs might have to teach us about our own relationship with mortality today. Your evening includes a one-hour talk, Victorian-inspired high tea, and a hands-on activity where you’ll create your own Memento Mori.

Led by a local death doula, Jennifer Kable Cullinane
410-805-3165
cardinallightdoulaservices.com; this first Victorian Parlor Talk invites the death curious to step beyond the usual Halloween ghosts and ghouls and explore something much more intriguing: our human fascination with death—and what we can learn from those who came before us.

Saturday, October 24 | 6:00–9:00 PM
$40

Come curious. Stay for the tea. Leave thinking differently about death.

Join us on September 10th for a powerful New Moon Breathwork and Soundbath.
This is the perfect time to reflect on what new habits or goals we want to plant and nurture during this lunar cycle.
Breathwork is the most poweful way to heal our bodies. When we breath in a rhythmic circular pattern we open our energy channels so we can release suppressed emotions, old thought patterns and trauma that stays stuck in the body.

We start with a grounding meditation. Then move into 30 minutes of Breathwork curated to music to help assist you with releasing more intensely.
After the Breathwork we return to a regular breath pattern and then we are bathed in glorious sound and vibrations using a variety of sound healing instruments. This is a life changing practice! Please join us if your ready to life a lighter, happier and healthier lifestyle!

After wards you can mangle and ground with a choice of specially prepared hot tea or iced tea options, fresh baked sweet scone and cream, jam & fruit, or a savory scone with cheese & homemade chutney.

This is a drop in class. Registration will go up shortly to RSVP but this will be a turn up and pay on the day offering.

$45 for 2 hours. 7-9pm and only 12 spots available

✨ A beautiful full-circle moment for Hamilton. ✨

When I first came to Hamilton, the Green Onion Market was operating in 5500; this very space, and it quickly became one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. I shopped there almost every Sunday.

Eventually, that little building became mine and became Emma’s Tea Spot — and now, in some strange and wonderful way, I feel like the tea shop has midwifed it all the way back into being a neighborhood market again. 💚

And I can’t help thinking that Richard Marsiglia, God rest his soul, would be smiling down from heaven seeing it come full circle.

What an incredible contribution to Hamilton and such a wonderful asset for the neighborhood. Congratulations to Nicole and Jason for breathing new life into this special little corner and bringing something so needed back to our community.

Hamilton — GO, GO, GO! Run, don’t walk. Go shop, support them, welcome them, and help make this beautiful new market part of the fabric of the neighborhood. While ya there remember The Strand Theatre;🎭 Diamond Dogs 🐕 The Ravens Beak and Hello Trouble our new family owned luncheonette!!

Onwards and upwards, Hamilton & Lauraville. ❤️
Love you always.
