We had the pleasure of visiting our partners at Cafe Campesino, Now Campesino Organic Coffee Company. They were so accommodating, and showed us such a great time. If you’re ever in Americus, Georgia we highly recommend visiting and having some of the best coffee in the south. 10/10. ☕️💘

As part of our 5 year celebration, we are excited to host our first ever book signing with 2 published authors connected with El Vinedo Local! The event is on our patio Friday, March 20th 3PM to 5PM.

Mike Cobb is a local author and resident of Midtown. His works include both fiction and nonfiction, short-form and long-form, as well as articles and blogs. He is the author of four published novels, Dead Beckoning, The Devil You Knew, its sequel, You Will Know Me By My Deeds, and Muzzle the Black Dog. He is a regular guest at El V.

Bob Kaster is a long-time Northern California resident and retired Superior Court Judge. In retirement, he has taken up creative and journalistic writing, including novels, newspaper articles, short stories, and essays. His fiction novels include the Septuagenarian series - The Septuagenarian, The Mansion, Angelica, and Maryessa. He is the father of our owner, Robert, and makes mention of trips to Atlanta and visiting El V in his novels.

5 years ago, in the middle of the pandemic, on March 15th, 2021, we opened El Vinedo Local. We had 6 team members serving just breakfast and lunch weekdays. Today, we've grown to 28 team members and serve 3 meals a day, 7 days a week.

As we live in Midtown Atlanta, on Peachtree Street, just 8 blocks from the restaurant, we built it for our neighbors and visitors to our neighborhood.

This week, we are celebrating 5 years of friendship, community, food, and wine.
