Rainy Fall weather like this calls for hot delicious soup, and we've got that for you at Lock 15! Aside from this delightful Salmon Bisque, we also have our Street Corn Soup (Vegan) and Chile Relleno soup, made with hatch chile gouda cheese and ground pork.

Now is the time to come in and enjoy your current favorite menu items, as we're gearing up to change our food menu soon.

If you're new to Lock 15, we change our food menu twice a year to keep things fresh and exciting! A couple of staples always stay, and there are a few elements you can always expect, such as a Lock 15 burger or a salmon entree for example. So join us soon and experience this Summer menu while you still can.

Okay, Fall means more than that at Lock. It means a new menu is coming, new seasonal cocktails are here AND we just tapped Akron Cereal B**r! We've also got our Kraut Balls Oktoberfest and the Ohio Erie Mist Pumpkin Pie Milkshake IPA *now lactose-free*

The 2nd Annual Akron Oatmeal Festival

This Saturday, October 10th, from noon-5PM is the Akron Oatmeal Festival at Cascade Locks Park, right across the street from Lock 15 Brewing! Brought to us by the wonderful people at the Cascade Locks Park Association and The Mustill Store Museum.

Did you know Akron is home to the "Oatmeal King" Ferdinand Schumacher? Ferdinand pioneered the oat mill which kicked off oatmeal's nationwide popularity back in the 1850's and he was also the founder of a company which merged to become the Quaker Oats we know and love today. Akron is more than just rubber!

This is a festival jam-packed with family fun! And this year, there is even a parade. So grab the family, head down to the Locks and get ready to have a ton of fun! To honor this awesome celebration, America's Byway Oatmeal IPA (made in honor of America's 250th, and the Summit Brew Bath's 10 year anniversary) will be $1 off per pint at both Akronym Brewing AND Lock 15 Brewing ALL DAY on Saturday!

And because Lock 15 likes to do it up, our chefs have been putting together a special dessert for the occasion. This weekend you can expect a delicious Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal Bar as one of our special offerings. Pair that with a pint of American Byway Oatmeal IPA to really get into the spirit!

Fall Flavors🍁

As the colder weather rolls in, Lock 15 also gears into a new season. We're working hard on our brand new Fall/Winter food menu, we've got seasonal favorites rotating on tap, and our brewers have been busy creating something *brand new* in the tanks. Now is the time to visit Lock 15 and enjoy your current food favorites before they leave.

This post is also a last call on our Summer Cocktails, so come drink us out of our Watermelon Refresher mocktail and the crowd-favorite Strawberry Yuzu Margarita. We'll have football on TV, soup, wings and more on the menu

Oktoberfest on Main Street🍺

Akronym Brewing and Lock 15 Brewing Co. present Oktoberfest on Main Street! On Saturday, October 3rd from noon to 5PM, join us at Akronym’s outdoor Biergarten (11 S. Main Street) for an afternoon full of good times with great people. This event is free to get in, with free parking, and we've got outdoor heaters, so there’s no reason to miss out on the festivities!

We’re kicking things off right at noon with a Welcoming Ceremony led by Akronym’s Brewmaster, Shawn Adams. Throughout the afternoon we will host different games and competitions like steinholding, the keg toss, hammerschlagen and more! Steinholding will be held at multiple different time slots so that everyone gets a chance to test their strength. Plus, we will be awarding the Best Dressed with a prize, so make sure you’re wearing your favorite Oktoberfest getup.

There will be hours of live music, craft b**r and Oktoberfest cuisine. *Menu dropping soon!* Free weekend parking in the High and Market parking deck which is connected to the Biergarten by stairway and elevator. The Biergarten is also accessible from Main Street in between the Chameleon Cafe and the Blu-Tique Hotel.
