I apologize for not having a personal instagram to share this post to, because it is definitely personal, and I am sharing it here on my business page because I’m not sure what else to do. But I wanted to share in the community of people who are uniting in our grief over the loss of our very special friend, Tino. I am not good at social media. I pay someone to do it for me. I’m not sure who I am supposed to tag and whatnot, so I hope this reaches some of our shared friends, and most importantly, Tino’s family, who have been in my thoughts nonstop since I heard the saddest of sad news. I met Tino 23 years ago when we danced on cruise ships together, and we quickly became best friends, and did back to back contracts together. We have stayed in touch regularly over the years, and we were always trying to plan trips to see each other, and now, of course, I wish we would’ve tried a little harder. But he was always a friend that I could reach out to with anything at any time. And I did. And he did, too. The last time we saw each other in person though was fall of 2023. And we picked up right where we left off. We always did. He looked after me like a brother would look after their little sister when we were on the ships, and we got into our fair share of trouble, also like siblings would. And hell, sometimes we fought like siblings do. But it always came from a place of love and understanding, because when you have a heart like his, that’s all you know. I will miss him so much. I have read things over the last few days that have brought me to tears several times—just the way he made people feel and the joy he brought everywhere he went. It is really, truly amazing. He was my best friend. And I will miss him like crazy. To all of his people out there, may his spirit continue to live on thru us, and may we find comfort and peace knowing he can finally be everywhere, all at once, with all of us, as he always wanted to be. Community. Connection. Laughter. Love. Light. Energy. Eternal. Rest in peace, my sweet friend. Love always, Katie
