Into the Blue will be a completely improvised set by long time collaborators Matthew DeRubertis, Philip Anderson, Holbrook Riles III. The trio will draw from hip hop, jazz, groove, ambient, rock, and whatever comes through in the inspired moment. Looping, samples and textures will also be part of this exploratory night of music. Improvisation is freedom. Let’s see what happens!

Some of y’all geniuses add smash patties to the gabagool and we love it. Today’s $10 Chef’s Burger is a riff on this—The Gaba Junior Melt. It’s got a single patty of our custom beef blend, 2oz gabagool, american cheese, banana peppers, company sauce, shredded lettuce with italian dressing, and mayo on on our housemade brioche toast, and is served with good company fries. Available today only ‘til 11p!

Dave Sterner’s Tricotism is an acoustic jazz trio that plays an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, Latin, and swing tunes by artists such as Sonny Rollins, Kenny Garrett, Thelonius Monk, the Beatles, P!nk, Stevie Wonder in addition to original material. Saxophonist Dave Sterner has been performing in Northeast Ohio for over thirty years with popular jazz groups such as Ernie Krivda & the Fat Tuesday big band, Red Light Roxy, and his own trios and quartets. He has received the award for “best horn player” and “best jazz group” in Cleveland from the Cleveland Scene magazine. Steve Renko is an award-winning drummer and percussionist having toured with varied artists in the United States and Canada in addition to performing locally with The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and Helen Welch. Bassist, composer and educator Tim Lekan has been a regular member of Ernie Krivda’s quartet, as well as, working with and accompanying many artists including Joe Barrett, Oscar Brown Jr., Paul Jost, Barry Miles to name a few.
