Some tips on how to spot a good quality matcha 🍵

The colour - we are looking for a vibrant and rich green colour. Dull and yellow/brown tones may indicate lower quality leaves, ageing or poor storage

Check the texture of the powder - should feel fine and silky, rather than coarse or gritty

Flavour profile - a balance of umami, gentle natural sweetness, and pleasant bitterness (not overpowering)

As a female-led business, we wanted to do our bit to help fund the foundation’s important work in education, research, and patient support.
