EuroCOP stands fully behind the Garda Representative Association as we say that our members’ days off should not be seen as a standby shift to be abused and cancelled at a moment’s notice. Gardaí need days to rest and recover from what is always a challenging job, yet they continue to feel pressure surrounding their days off, annual leave and work time entitlements

Another day, and sadly another attack on Gardaí simply serving their local community. Two Gardaí suffered injuries after an unprovoked violent attack outside Dundalk Station on Tuesday . There is NEVER an excuse for attacks on our members, the job is difficult enough.
