🌿 Discover Clondalkin Village Festival 2026! 🌿



South Dublin County Council is delighted to support the Clondalkin Village Festival, a vibrant week of culture, heritage and community taking place across Clondalkin.



From local history and music to family events and guided tours, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

🏛️ Be sure to visit the Round Tower Visitor Centre (Brú Chrónáin), where visitors can explore one of South Dublin’s most iconic heritage sites and learn more about Clondalkin’s rich monastic past.

👏 A special thanks to the dedicated volunteer guides from Clann Chrónáin, who are offering a fantastic programme of walking tours and experiences throughout the week.

Looking for something interesting to do in Clondalkin before the local parade on St. Patrick's Day?

Why not do a Taster Tour - a 15-minute tour on just one area of our local history that interests you?

Choose from:
• The Monastic Garden
• The Vikings in Clondalkin
• The Mill Cottages..and, of course, the jewel in the crown...
• The Round Tower itself

From 11am-1pm, Clann Chrónáin will have a team of tour guides on hand in Brú Chrónáin Round Tower Visitor Centre to greet visitors and tell you everything you want to know about your chosen topic - all within a quarter of an hour! Then you can grab a lovely Wherelse coffee ☕ and pastry 🥐 and head on to whatever else you're fitting in ahead of the parade! ☘☘☘☘
