Ahamore Tearooms serves fresh wholesome food. We open at Easter time and stay open throughout the season until the end of September. We are located in Derrynane House, ancestral home of the Liberator, Daniel O'Connell. The setting is absolutely fantastic in the sheltered court yard within the Gardens of the Natonal Park, just a stones throw from the pristine beaches of beautiful Derrynane.

‘A Visual Storm’ is a documentary film about life and art Italian artist of resistance artist Aurelio Caminati screening on Saturday 6th June Derrynane House at 5pm.

The film features the artist’s life and work including his history painting “The Triumphant Car of Daniel O’Connell” which is now housed in Derrynane House.

Presentation by Art Historian Jessica Fahy on the artist’s work with Q&A with Director Sinéad Walsh to follow, moderated by Dr. Ruth Barrington.
