OPPORTUNITY to own or run The Swan Tavern, Ripponden.
We are open to either selling the freehold or agreeing a FREE OF TIE lease with the right operator.
The Swan has been comprehensively refurbished and is ready for somebody to take over and make their own. It has substantial trading space over two floors, bars on both levels, a games/function room, kitchen, beer garden and approximately 150 customer covers across the building.
More importantly, I think there is a real opportunity here for an owner operator or local hospitality entrepreneur who wants to be hands on and build a pub around what Ripponden and the surrounding area actually wants.
The freehold is currently marketed at offers around £595,000, although I am equally happy to have a conversation with somebody interested in leasing the pub rather than purchasing it.
