☕ WE’RE HIRING: Experienced Barista & Front-of-House Team Member 🐾

Love great coffee, busy café days and making customers feel welcome? We’re looking for an experienced front-of-house team member to join the North Gateway team.

We’re a busy, independent, dog-friendly café on the A9, serving great coffee, hearty food and homemade baking—with plenty of proper Highland hospitality along the way.

The role

🕒 Four days a week, 32 hours
📅 Available to work two out of every four weekends
☀️ Mostly daytime shifts, as we’re open 9am–5pm
☕ Extra hours may be available on Friday evenings
📍 Set days may be possible for the right person

You’ll be making coffee, taking orders and payments, looking after customers, keeping the café looking its best and working closely with the team.

What we’re looking for

✔️ Barista trained — essential
✔️ Front-of-house experience in a busy café, restaurant or hotel — essential
✔️ Confident using a till or EPOS system
✔️ High standards and a good eye for detail
✔️ A team player who can also run their own station

And you must love dogs—we’re only half joking! 🐶

After a week in the DEEP south it was nice to get back to my favourite cafe - The North Gateway Cafe, Daviot Woods.

We’ve heard them all—but all good things take a little extra effort! 😉 Located just off the A9, we promise we’re worth the turn.
