Well, after everything the storm threw at us, we’ve actually got off pretty lightly! 🌪️

I’ve just had a little wander around to check everything over, and apart from a few bits and pieces, we’re all good.

We have lost the lights in the seating area though, so it might be a little more cosy and atmospheric than usual 😂 But the fire is now roaring away, the coffee machine is fired up and we’re ready for you!

So come down, get yourself a lovely hot brew, grab a sweet treat and warm up by the fire. ☕🔥🍰

Sometimes a stormy day is the perfect excuse for a coffee and cake! ❤️

🌧️ CLOSED TODAY — STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🌧️

Unfortunately, I’ve made the decision not to open Fellside Coffee today.

With the storm and the conditions on the roads, I just don’t feel it’s safe. There are already multiple trees down on the routes coming to us, and I don’t want anyone putting themselves at risk trying to get here — whether that’s customers or staff.

It’s not a decision I’ve taken lightly, but sometimes safety has to come first. ❤️

So please stay safe, stay warm and avoid unnecessary journeys if you can.

Hopefully the weather settles down soon and I’ll see you all again very soon for a coffee. ☕️
