Just returned from beautiful (and delicious Tbilisi - Georgia) And now Georgia is on my mind as the song goes… yes. The most delicious soup on offer there is Kharcho - a beef, walnut and rice soup. So uniquely Georgian, so hearty, so herby - delish

Mmmm - mushroom soup! With herbs, mellow roasted garlic, cream. It’s a tawny satin succour. Dispenser of vitamin D which dispels doomsday mood. Let’s go with that notion. The winter is nigh. Also - another cheer leader - Rhine inspired German Potato & Frankfurter. Want to be strong as a Teutonic knight? Have a bowlful!
