We are a Traditional Pub right in the heart of the Town that has been run by the Family for over 60 years. Unlike some of the large pub chains we deliver a warm and friendly welcome to customers old and new!! Our Beer Garden is a hidden gem and a great place to enjoy a drink or bite to eat. We have three beautiful en-suite letting rooms nestled at the foot of our beer garden in what were the original stables that have been finished to a very high standard. All rooms and centrally heated with heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Each room has a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and alarm clock radio. With no road noise they provide a very peaceful location to enjoy a few nights away for business or pleasure. Our Bar Menu offers a wide selection of Traditional Pub Fayre alongside regular daily Home Cooked Specials. Our Restaurant is bright and airy and a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Sunday's we are the Home of a great Traditional Roast with fabulous Home Made Desserts that change every week.

Well review platforms are always a scary place for most Hosts but today we had two Beauts!

It can be soul destroying sometimes when you have quite literally bent over backwards & often people just don't think to post but today is a good day.

Every business tries it's best, it is lovely however when people take the time to notice that.

If you are looking for a cosy place to enjoy some quality time then give us a try if you haven't before.

We have ALWAYS placed banners for celebrations, brought out Birthday Candles to sing Happy Birthday (even if it makes the recipient cringe 🤣🤣😶) and ALWAYS offered a drink as a thank you for Celebrating with us.

Hospitality is a tough old game these days & I see more & more how things we have ALWAYS done quietly, without shouting about it, now have to be advertised & "put out there" in order to keep up!

We can't benefit from advertising as the "new kiddie on the block" that people love to go try out. We have just always been here for anyone to enjoy. Many people still say "lived in Devizes for years, never been in before"

SO, I guess I'm asking if you haven't been through our doors, come in & see for yourself - you may just be surprised!

Many things have changed at The Pelican as we have beautiful letting rooms at the foot of our B**r Garden for Business or Pleasure visits.

Our Menu changes with the seasons & includes many Home Cooked Dishes.

Live Music, EVERY weekend with free entry & different genres to suit all tastes.

New we may not be but we certainly are evolving in many ways.

Share a post, tag a friend who you think may be interested in an event. To continue every Business must grow so if you like what we do please help, when you can, to build our audience x❤️x
