Vintage Citroen H van to be found most weekend serving homemade cakes and coffee

Louis is our lovingly restored 1981 vintage Citroen H van! named after the first owner Louis Durand in Toulouse he has had extensive renovation to his bodywork and engine over 6 months! He can be found most weekends serving homemade cakes, coffee (from a proper machine!) and snacks at Curbar Gap car park in the beautiful Peak District....but please check twitter and facebook to make sure he isnt having a day off! - as he needs them occasionally as he is an old boy!

It seems an appropriate day to post about our winter opening!
Lots of people asking if we close for the winter and the answer is we don’t! 🙌
Yes we may be open a little less due to adverse weather (this weekend is a prime example!) but we try to be out and open as much as we can.
Louis starts to look a little different (Perspex screens go up to keep us a bit warmer!) , blankets available to keep you warm, and of course he will get some twinkly lights and decorations! We also start to look a little different… gloves, hats and lots of layers 😂
The best part is our offerings change a bit…. Mince pies, lots and lots of hot chocolates, pumpkin lattes, spiced chai, stollen, Christmas cakes and much more to come!
So please still come and visit us during the colder months …. Just check on socials if the weather is looking a bit interesting to our opening.
Here’s to the seasons changing and embracing it 🤗

Just a reminder we are back from a short break and open again this weekend!
Lots of autumnal bakes…. Ginger cake, Brownies, flapjack, blondies, and the Guinness cake is back!
Along with sausage rolls and pastries!
Pop along and grab a coffee and a little weekend treat ☺️

We are very thankful to have had a VERY busy few months and are taking a little break away for a week. We will be back open in Saturday 17th October.
We had a few disappointed faces when we told some of our lovely customers last weekend… which is so nice that you miss us when we are away!! We will be back.

So we are back to normal opening hours this weekend! 😅
The lovely Karen will be serving up the good stuff on Friday and Saturday. Come and grab a great cup of coffee courtesy of PENISTONE ROASTERY and a slice of homemade cake or an autumnal hot chocolate and a sausage roll for lunch 😋

Got any plans this weekend? Need some fresh air ✔️, homemade cake ✔️, freshly ground locally sourced coffee ✔️, Cute vintage van ✔️, countryside views? (Not always possible in this autumn weather 😆)
As a small business (we are not part of Chatsworth, A franchise or own any other cafe/coffee shop) you as customers are pretty important to us. So we really do try and do our best and provide a lovely product and service.
Our hours are a bit reduced this weekend but our Jolly little van will hopefully put a smile on your face.

Freshly ground coffee from a small independent local roaster, homemade cakes, hot chocolate with cream and huge marshmallows, freshly baked sausage rolls and pastries. A cute French van in one of the most picturesque spots in the peaks…..

You can never have too much good coffee, homemade cake, beautiful views can you??!!
Louis will have a packed cake cabinet, pastries and the fresh coffee will be flowing! Autumnal gingerbread lattes and hot chocolates loaded with cream and mega marshmallows!

Some small things bring great joy……
A great cup of coffee, a slice of homemade cake or maybe just a smile and chat.
Or perhaps it’s seeing that little fledgling Robin popping by to pick up left over crumbs!
At Jolly’s we aim to provide a little bit of joy with what we do so if it’s been a tough week maybe it’s just what you need.
Note-Robin fledglings cannot be guaranteed but I do keep seeing one where we park the van so 🤞
