Oh how the months are flying by! Can you believe we’ve been open for 3 months already?

A very big thank you from me to you, to the people who come in and talk books with me, the people whose faces light up with happiness when they’ve got themselves a new book, to those who buy gifts for their loved ones from me; to those who pop their head in to say hello on their way past, and those who smile through the window as they wander through the arcade

The support I have gained since opening my little book shop has been a dream come true and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone! 📚📖

We are starting to get more independent shops in Bakewell as high streets rebuild and over here at the Granby Arcade we have a few too! You can pop in to see us all, or contact us all directly for each shops opening times, but either way we would love to see you and welcome you in!

Independent shops are a vital part of the high street, and each one is typically owned by a small business owner who happy dances with every sale they make no matter how big or small. So please support your local independent shops.
