Back in April we were thrilled to receive a National Garden Scheme Community Grant and the timing couldn't be more perfect because Axminster Town Council have just agreed to rent us another half allotment right next to our current one! 🙌

The grant is going straight to work funding a new greenhouse, a polytunnel, more raised beds and an extended patio across both plots, creating a really wonderful space for growing, seating and socialising together 💛 We genuinely cannot wait to see it all come together!

A massive thank you to Ray, Kerry and their incredible team of dedicated volunteers and to Penny Walmsley, NGS East Devon Coordinator, who visited recently and was genuinely blown away by everything they have achieved in such a short space of time, especially given the challenging summer weather 🌟

This community never fails to make our hearts full 💛 Watch this space! The best is yet to come! 🌱✨

Over the past few weeks, our Monday group has been taking part in a gentle clay project led by local artist Sara Garth of Sculpt Happy Each person created clay tiles in calm, relaxed sessions focused on wellbeing, creativity and connection.

Sara is now assembling the tiles into a beautiful collaborative mosaic that will soon be displayed here at Waffle House. This labour of love is a celebration of community, creativity, and honours the supportive space this group continues to build together.

We can’t wait to share the finished piece with you all at Waffle Axminster.

Eyes down, Axminster! 👀 Bingo Night is coming to Waffle!

Looking for a great excuse to get out, share some laughs, and spend a brilliant evening with friends and family? Join us on Wednesday, 21st August at 7:30 PM for a night of fun, games, and great company!

Meet The Nojito One—our ultimate August special!

We’ve paired up with our friends at .gelato, who have created an incredible zesty lemon & mint sorbet just for us. 🍦

We serve it over a warm waffle, topped with sweet sugared berries and a rich raspberry purée. It’s light, refreshing, and tastes like summer on a plate. ☀️

We are more than just a business - we are community ❤️

Incredibly we have over 60 volunteers that work with us in Waffle Axminster and Lyme to tackle isolation and loneliness in our area. When you eat and drink in Waffle, you are helping us change someone's life in the community that desperately needs it!
