Kate Sturgess from the Contented Dementia Trust will be in Waffle, Lyme Regis, on Monday, 22nd June from 10 am to 2 pm for a dementia awareness drop-in.

If you are caring for someone with dementia, come in and see us for a cuppa and a chat.

Kate can give you advice on communicating and caring for your loved one and help on how you may be able to keep those lines of communication open.

As it's Carers' Week the Jurassic Coast Social Prescribers team will be in Waffle at the Carer's Support Group this coming Thursday, 11th June, 2-4pm.
If you are an unpaid carer, do come along, grab a drink, pull up a chair and settle in and find connection with others who are experiencing similar situations.
The Carers' Support Group is a monthly group at Waffle, Lyme, every 2nd Thursday 2-4pm, supported by Dorset Help & Care

Two new groups begin this week at Waffle in Lyme.

* The ND Parent Lounge Tuesday 9th June 9.30am-11.30am
For parents of neurodiverse teens and young adults. Come along to share experiences in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, support each other or simply chat

* Chapter & Chat Book Club Wednesday 10th June 10am-11.30am
A new book club with plenty of space for people to join. An opportunity to get together and chat about what you’ve been reading over a wonderful cuppa in a relaxed environment.

There's no need to book, you're very welcome to just pop along.
