Well, I'm not quite sure where the summer has gone! One minute we're enjoying sunshine and warm evenings, and the next we're reaching for a jacket again! ☀️🌦️

Whatever the weather, we're here and ready to welcome you at the Railway Kitchen in Axminster.

📍 Open Monday to Saturday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
📍 Sunday: 8:30am – 2:00pm

🍽️ Cooked food served until 1:30pm every day. After that, cakes, teacakes and hot and cold drinks are still available.

Don't forget to pick up one of our Hot Drink Loyalty Cards – enjoy your regular cuppa and earn rewards along the way! ☕

From Monday 8th June, we’ll be extending our opening hours for the summer season so you can enjoy even more time with us at the Railway Kitchen! 🚂☕🍦

Our new opening hours will be:
📅 Monday – Saturday: 7:30– 15:00
📅 Sunday: 8:30 – 14:00

🍳 Cooked food will continue to be served until 1:30pm

🍰 From 13:30 – 15:00, we’ll still be open for all your favourites including:

Chef and publican Tom Kerridge is spearheading the campaign, calling for a fairer 10% VAT rate for hospitality.

Hospitality is the heart of our communities, providing jobs, supporting local suppliers, creating opportunities, and bringing people together. Many European countries recognise this and support their hospitality sectors with lower VAT rates. The UK should do the same.

A reduced VAT rate would help protect businesses, safeguard jobs, encourage investment, and ensure pubs, restaurants, cafés and hotels can continue to thrive.
