We’re already here roasting, so we figured we might as well be officially open for all of Aarhus’s fine coffee folk.

New hours:

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 10-16
Saturday: 10-14

Decaf - once again - it’s back!

We’ve had quite a few questions about it recently, so here’s a wee explainer about why it was missing for so long.

If you can’t be bothered watching the video, basically, as we grow it gets trickier to plan our coffees for the year. We were bloody stoked and surprised our little decaf got so popular we ran out, but that left a few of you disappointed - sorry about that!

Back in stock!

After a longer than expected hiatus, our delicious decaf is back. Sources from El Carmen in Huila, Colombia and purchased through our good mates Raw Material this little gem was decaffeinated using the sugarcane or ethyl acetate method, the result is an absolute ripper that maintains all the flavour of a classic washed Colombian: crisp acidity, tons of stone fruit notes and a touch of cacao.

It’s a light roast, but you can brew it however you like and we reckon it’ll be delicious - available online and at the beanstore now ☕️

Say g’day to Erli!

This one’s been a wee while in the making, but we’re stoked to be linking up with the legends behind JUMBO BAKERY once again, for their newest baby.

Serving up breakfast and hot lunches, Erli is built for the everyday, and for everyone. A beautiful, charming spot to drop in on your way to work, take a break in the middle of the day, or sit down with family and friends over a good meal.

Their philosophy is one we share: simplicity, good food and drink, honest quality and warm service.

Not much more than that. Just a really nice place to be (and to grab what we humbly reckon is the best coffee in town ☕)

Summer hours!!

The heat waves still cooking, everyone’s at the beach or outta town and we feel like we’re missing out!

We’re not taking a holiday per se, but we’re tweaking our opening hours so you can swing by to get your beans if you’re desperate for a top up.

Week 29 and 30 opening hours:

Thursdays and Fridays: 11:00 - 15:00
Saturdays: 12:00-15:00

Stay hydrated, remember you sunscreen and maybe we’ll see you in the beanstore ☕️

One of the best little brewers going around.

That being said, these two rippers have been hanging out on our retail shelf for the last 4 years — the box is a bit sun-bleached, but it’s what’s on the inside that counts right..

The Decaf Crisis is real. 🚨

Or, it’s not at all actually. But you lot loved it far more than we anticipated, and now we’ve run out! But we’re ordering more than ever from the latest Colombian harvest, so new stock is on its way and you can expect it in around 6-8 weeks. We’re also looking at whether there’s a quicker solution in the meantime, so watch this space.

.silkeborg recently turned one, and we wanted to give them the floor to tell their own story. If you’re passing through Silkeborg this summer, there aren’t many cafes with a warmer or more welcoming vibe. They make their own, banging baked goods in their mini back kitchen, and they make a pretty mean cup of coffee too. Stoked to have had them with us at Mood from day one, be sure to pop in and say hello when you’re in their neck of the woods!
