UPick starts at 11 am and goes until 5 pm. Come at 11 to beat the heat! Bring hat, water, sunscreen, a stool, good picking containers like Olympic yoghurt containers, CASH if you want to buy as we do not have digital means on the field.

Haskap picking today between 11 am-5 pm. Supposed to be another nice day. Bring good containers (like yoghurt containers or honey buckets) stools, a hat, sunscreen, and cash if you want to buy berries-we don’t have digital on the field.

Open for picking at 11 am to 5 pm today. Looks like good weather. Bring cash if you want to buy your berries, good containers to pick in (no plastic bags, etc as the berries turn into mush in plastic bags, and metal containers get warm from the sun and cook the berries…yoghurt containers and honey buckets are the best.)
You can do the half and half (you get half for free and we get half) IF a you pick clean, no leaves and no stems. Otherwise you have to buy all your berries. Berries are $18/kilo. And remember, cash only.

August 1 dawns clear and sunny! Looks like a great day for haskap picking! Today’s hours are 12-6 pm. Bring a hat, sunscreen, a stool to sit on, your containers, and cash if you want to buy your berries as we don’t have the digital option in the field.

Yesterday was perfect weather and today the forecast is quite good too…only a 30% chance of thundershowers in the afternoon. We didn’t get any yesterday although the forecast was for 40% then.
So, we will be open from 11 am to 5 pm today.

Yesterday was wet, but today the forecast says “Becoming a mix of sun and cloud near noon with 40% chance of showers this afternoon.”
This is definitely better!

Well…..hmmm. Looking outside it looks pretty wet. We are hoping it clears up but who knows? You take a chance coming out today it looks like. We will still be there (unless it’s down pouring). In which case I’ll put a sign on the highway saying RAINED out see you tomorrow.
