Business for sale but not sold yet… rest assured, shelves will remain stocked with fresh as it gets ethically sourced organic coffee throughout the process.

We intend to remain consistent as To Bean enters a new chapter - putting it in the stars that the right folks will be up for taking To Bean to the next level.

In the meantime, we’re bringing in new stock, keeping our shelves filled with all the things you have come to trust us for.

We’ve got some pretty big news to share at To Bean or Not to Bean… after 12 amazing years of building a business that we truly love, it’s time for us to start a new chapter and pass the torch to the next To Bean Or Not To Bean owners. Our baby is officially up for sale and will be listed Monday.

This is not a decision that was taken lightly, nor was it an easy one to make - but with the loss of a few people we’ve loved over the past few years, and a recent experience of losing only our vehicle while a down burst ripped a barn apart around us – life seems to be putting a magnifying glass on things, and we’ve made the difficult decision that it’s time to pass the torch.

It’s the people we’ll miss the most – the community that has supported our small business all these years – the heartfelt conversations we’ve had from way back when we used to do markets every weekend to the folks that walk through the doors and the wholesale accounts that prioritize fresh roasted ethically sourced coffee and supporting a local small business.
There’s a big ripple effect that comes along with that, reaching all the way to the farmers who deserve our gratitude most.

Our hope is that To Bean’s next chapter is led by people with a big heart and care factor for giving back to our community and making everyone who walks through the doors feel welcome, and a little lighter for having a moment together.

We just wanted to be transparent when you see To Bean or Not to Bean up for sale, it’s hard to walk away from a beautiful chapter… we’re really proud of all we’ve built here… but it’s time.

Here’s to helping us manifest an amazing next chapter of fresh roasted coffee in Stratford with To Bean or Not to Bean. To say we’re grateful for every single one of you is putting it mildly.
