We had the best weekend! 🎉 Cocoa & Quinoa catered two events this Saturday, a wedding and a grad reunion and our hearts are so full. From the charcuterie board to the buffet spread, we loved bringing both celebrations to life.

We also received the sweetest note from the bride, and a local review from the weekend made our whole team smile, thank you both for the kind words and the trust. 🥰

Two very different weddings, one weekend. 💍✨

One reception for 125 guests. One intimate celebration for 13 — full menu, entirely gluten-free, no exceptions and no compromises on flavour.

That’s the range we love working in at Cocoa & Quinoa: whether it’s a big reception or a small gathering with specific dietary needs, every dish is built around the people eating it. Raspberry Chocolate Pavlova was one of the dessert stations from the larger event — individual meringue nests, raspberry compote, shaved dark chocolate.

We’re endlessly grateful for couples who trust us with a day this important, dietary restrictions and all.

What a weekend at Cocoa & Quinoa! 🍰
We delivered a custom stencilled tiramisu for Blake's graduation, a tres leches cake, and a fresh dozen of Greek pita bread, all made completely from scratch right here in Smithers. That includes the mascarpone cheese for the tiramisu, which we made in-house.
If you didn't know that was even possible, now you do. That's the Cocoa & Quinoa difference.

Raspberry fields forever. 🍓✨
There is something incredibly meditative about placing every single berry by hand. Our latest creation for Cocoa & Quinoa: a giant shortbread tart topped with a sea of fresh raspberries and a light, velvety cream.
Measuring in at roughly 2 feet wide, this was as much a labor of love as it was a dessert. Perfection is in the details.
