Here is every reservation book we kept from October 2012 through to September 30, 2025. They hold record of many of the wonderful experiences and memories we had over the years with the Restaurant.
It has been about one year since our last day of service. It was a quick transition to our new shop on Gertrude St, Brad got his new hip and our Crew went on to their next chapters.
We love just being customers in restaurants now. Hats off to all the restaurant owners out there who jump in every single day, all day, and work incredibly hard – it is not easy and the industry-specific and greater economic, labour and supply chain challenges continue to pile on. We know it’s not a simple feat with all the moving parts.
We are grateful to now enjoy a downsized business, with catering, Heat & Serve meals and, of course, still making our Candied Salmon Chowder. Brad likes being “Front of House” now and chatting with our customers. He is still very busy every day but having a blast as we grow.
Over the last year, we have enjoyed many visits and help from members of our old Starboard Crew, for whom there will always be coffee for and a seat at Table 70 in our new place.
