What an amazing weekend we had!! I’m sure everyone felt some impact from the cruise ship population checking it out our town. We definitely did at Turtle Island. Big thanks to anyone who waited a longer than normal time to get your meal. We are very grateful ☺️ ❤️🙏

Our first week open was a great success. I’d like to thank everyone who came to try the fish n chips and chicken fingers this week.

Good morning ☀️! I'd like to express heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us at Turtle Island this weekend. We're thrilled to have sold out of lingcod yesterday!! Today's menu features Halibut n Chips and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Tenders. Once again, thank you for being an incredible community! I love this town 😊❤️🤗.

The time has finally arrived!! Will be doing a soft opening this weekend. Come on down to the Quay for Halibut n Chips and Lingcod n Chips. More menu items to be added soon.

I wanted to give everyone a quick update and sincerely thank the community for all the support, messages, and excitement surrounding the new fish & chips restaurant. It truly means a lot.

I know many people have been wondering when the doors will open, and I appreciate everyone’s patience over these past few weeks. The delay has been because I’ve been balancing responsibilities at another restaurant I’m involved with and needed to make sure that team was fully supported and their new menu launch was successfully in place before shifting my focus toward getting Turtle Island fully ready.

Opening this restaurant is something I’m very excited and passionate about, and I want to make sure it’s done properly — with care, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere the community can truly enjoy.

I’m now shifting more of my attention back to Turtle Island and working hard to get everything ready for opening. I can’t wait to welcome everyone in, serve great food, and become part of the community here.

Thank you again for all the encouragement and patience. We’re getting closer, and I’m looking forward to sharing more updates soon.
