Highlights from our Halloween Cocktail Club over the weekend. 🎃✨

Over the weekend, our very own Chef Errin (Errin Massolin) competed at the 2026 Chive Cup 🏆 hosted by Salt & Brick Calgary Alejandro Buzzalino

Seven of Calgary’s best chefs, eight courses, and one featured ingredient on every plate. We are so proud to share that Judges’ Choice went to Errin Massolin for her dish, “Three Little Piggies”— a showcase of Mangalitsa pork featuring a Mangalitsa + Chinese chive roulade, Mangalitsa lardon tartlet, Mangalitsa braised ravioli, hazelnut miso puree, apple chive jello, cognac jus, and many, many chives.

Congratulations also to David Leeder for taking home People’s Choice for his King Crab Raviolo.

Our 2026 live music season at The Nash is winding down as we head into our busy holiday events season, so we’re thrilled to welcome our friend Sean Pinchin back to Calgary & the Off Cut Bar at The Nash stage!

A Juno-nominated blues & roots virtuoso, Sean’s spent the last 20 years touring - opening for artists like Sawyer Brown, Colin James, Birds of Chicago, Serena Ryder, and Harry Manx. Always a fantastic night of music when Sean’s in town!

Music kicks off at 7pm, as always, there’s no cover charge, the full Nash menu is on offer, and Happy Hour runs ALL NIGHT!

Thursday night! Catch Calgary blues and roots legend Mike Watson at Off Cut Bar!

Take the influences of 1920s and 1930s Delta blues, play it through amps and recording technologies of the 1950s, and filter it through the musical sensibilities of a child of the grunge-era 90s, and you have Mike Watson. After years honing in on the most primal guitar sounds he could find, singer and guitarist Mike Watson began seeking out new sounds during the last few years of the OG King Eddy. He began to dig up old records of blues men, hill people, hollers, and pre-war gospel. Featuring 1930s music mixed with modern ideas and rock and roll is enthralling to listen to, and even better to experience live.
