Hey Adelaide, do you remember Woodroofe?

The iconic South Australian soft drink maker has been quenching thirsts since 1878. For many locals, it's a name that brings back childhood memories and a proud chapter of our state's history.

Today, that story continues in a different way. Our water is served in bespoke Woodroofe bottles, a small detail that connects every meal to South Australia's heritage.

Look closer, and you will find selected bottles that feature artwork by artist Ben Williams (Jangala), celebrating the connection between the River Torrens and Kaurna people.

Yesterday we swapped the kitchen for the olive grove.

A beautiful day at Rio Vista's Chef's Grove Day. Catching up with the growers behind the EVOO we've proudly used for years. Meeting fellow chefs, producers, and passionate people who all share a love of good food.

A reminder of just how lucky we are to cook with the incredible produce South Australia has to offer.

Not all stories are served on a plate.
Our steak knives have one too.

Each one is handcrafted by an Australian artisan using reclaimed materials. The blade is forged from old sawmill steel and vintage vehicle leaf springs, while the handle is carved from native Australian timbers like myrtle and gum.

No two are ever the same.

Before every service, they rest together in a wooden box in our kitchen. Each one different. Each one waiting to become part of someone‘s dinner.
