What an incredible season it has been! As we close our doors for the winter break, we are looking back at the past season with hearts full of absolute gratitude. ✨

To our wonderful B&B guests who chose us for their coastal getaways, everyone who visited our restaurant for our Friday pizza nights and Sunday seafood buffets, and all who shared their milestones with us this year—thank you.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to our incredible brides and grooms who trusted us with their forever; your love stories filled our venue with pure magic. ✨
To everyone who joined us for our live music events, our inspiring art exhibitions, cooking courses, festivals, and so many other beautiful celebrations—it has been an unforgettable season.
And finally, a huge thank you to our phenomenal team. Your hard work, passion, and dedication behind the scenes are what make this place so incredibly special. 🤍

We are now officially on our winter break to rest, refresh, and get the venue looking its absolute best.

There is something magical about Yzerfontein in winter. The salt pans are coming alive, creating a sanctuary for the diverse birdlife that thrives with the arrival of the rains.

It’s a time for the land to recharge and for the wild to take center stage. From the promise of flamingos returning to the salt pans to the sweeping flocks above, we’re grateful for these quiet moments to appreciate the natural wonders right on our doorstep.
