A special thank you to the team from .adventures for choosing The Tulbagh Hotel as one of the stops along their Cape Meander journey through the Western Cape 🏁🚘

The Cape Meander is an exclusive multi-day classic car road rally designed for pre-1990 vehicles, bringing together beautifully preserved cars, scenic mountain passes, luxury hospitality and some of the most remarkable roads in the Western Cape.

It was such a pleasure to welcome the group to Tulbagh, to see these beautiful classic cars lined up in front of the hotel, and to host people brought together by a shared appreciation for the drive.

For car clubs, road trip groups and guests exploring the Western Cape’s mountain passes and small towns, The Tulbagh Hotel makes a warm and characterful stop along the way, with comfortable rooms, good food, secure off-street parking and plenty of charm in the heart of town.

International Wine Day feels like a good excuse to spend more time at the Karee Wine Bar 🍷

For those who haven’t visited yet, we serve local wines beside a warm fireplace, by the friendliest team in South Africa, with easy access to something good from the kitchen if you start feeling a little snackish.

And while wine is the star of the show today, it’s not the only thing we have on offer. There’s also cold Castle Lite on tap, seasonal cocktails coming out of the bar, and plenty of tapas-style plates to share around the table.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of being featured on with Sean van Noordwyk as part of their visit to Tulbagh, and it was such a special opportunity to share a glimpse of our hotel and this beautiful valley we call home.

A big thank you to VIA TV for including us in Episode 2: Tulbagh.

We hope the episode inspired a few more people to explore our town, spend time in the valley, and perhaps even join us for a stay at The Tulbagh Hotel.
