BARMAN POSITION AVAILABLE
📍 Grounded Container Bar & Café
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Barman to join our team. If you are energetic, professional, creative and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we would love to hear from you.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a bartender/barman in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of:
o Cocktails and mixology
o Spirits, wines, beers, and beverages
o Bar preparation and stock control
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
• Must be reliable, punctual and well presented
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work well within a team environment
ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS
• Mixology courses or bartending diplomas/certificates
• Experience with craft cocktails and premium beverage service
• Barista experience will be beneficial
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Ensure accurate stock control and minimise wastage
• Assist with stock takes and ordering procedures
• Create a welcoming and professional customer experience
• Ensure all drinks are presented consistently and efficiently
• Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations
