We are so excited to announce a gala 40th anniversary celebratory event with celebrating 40 wonderful years of advocacy, compassion and education. We are celebrating big with a spectacular gala event at Spirit Elephant on Friday, June 5th featuring a five course fine dining experience. Farm Sanctuary founder, Gene Baur, will be present to give his remarks on how far we’ve come and where we are going with this movement. So grateful and honored to host the esteemed Dr Kim Williams tonight at Spirit Elephant. Dr. Williams was the head of cardiology at Rush for nine years and is now chair of the cardiology department at the University of Louisville. He has also served as the chair of the American College of Cardiology among many other distinguished positions. We were incredibly honored to learn that he and a colleague had published an article in the Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention naming Spirit Elephant as one of three out of 37 restaurants worldwide to receive the Planet-Based Nutrition Editor’s Choice Award based on taste, Service, healthfulness, ambiance and presentation. Thank you so much Dr. Williams, our entire team is beyond proud to receive this honor.
