The Big Sky Bison Burger is our way of celebrating one of the most iconic animals in the West. Hand-pressed bison topped with hickory-smoked bacon, cheddar, huckleberry-jalapeño BBQ sauce, and baby arugula on a brioche bun.

Some roads become destinations all on their own.

The Going-to-the-Sun Road winds through the heart of Glacier National Park, connecting mountain peaks, alpine meadows, and some of the most breathtaking views Montana has to offer. For generations, it’s been a summer tradition for locals and visitors alike.

Just down the road from Glacier, MacKenzie River grew up in the shadow of places like that.

The Going-to-the-Sun Flatbread pays tribute to one of Montana’s most iconic journeys with house-marinated portobello mushrooms, caramelized onions, huckleberry-infused ricotta, pine nuts, fresh rosemary, and mozzarella.

A longtime 406 Summer Fare favorite inspired by one of the places that helped shape who we are.

Not every 406 Summer Fare favorite started in our test kitchen.

The Treasure State Tacos were created by our team in Belgrade, Montana, just down the road from Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley where the MacKenzie River story first began.

Packed with seasoned beef, pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce, and chipotle ranch, they quickly earned a spot on the summer menu and have been a guest favorite ever since.

Back for another summer and available through August 31st.

There aren’t many ingredients that say Montana quite like huckleberries.

For generations, they’ve been a sign that summer has arrived. A reason to pull over on a backroad, wander down a trail, or come home with purple-stained fingertips.

Our Huckleberry Salad celebrates that tradition with fresh greens, huckleberries, goat cheese, candied walnuts, and white balsamic vinaigrette.

Our Bison Chili is back for 406 Summer Fare with bison, beans, corn, tomatoes, and just the right amount of heat, finished with cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream.

Simple. Hearty. Montana through and through.
