White rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit ✨☕️🐇

The tradition of saying “White rabbit, white rabbit, white rabbit” on the first day of the month is a well known piece of British folklore believed to bring good luck for the month ahead.

Many people say the words before speaking anything else when they wake up on the first morning of the month. Some whisper them as soon as they open their eyes, while others say them aloud before getting out of bed. According to tradition, if you remember to do this, you’ll invite good fortune, prosperity, and positive opportunities into your life.

No one knows exactly where the custom began, but it has been recorded in Britain since at least the early 1900s. Rabbits have long been associated with fertility, abundance, new beginnings, and good fortune in many European folk traditions, making them a fitting symbol to welcome a fresh month.
