The Kegerator at Hansen's Farm Fresh Dairy on 18th Street in Cedar Falls is now serving iced tea. Two flavors will be available in the keg and several flavors in the refrigerator by the milk.

The two flavors in The Keg are Blackberry Papaya and Tea Cellar Black.

Pricing is as shown--which I think is pretty reasonable actually....do you agree?

Shout out to Jordan Hansen who does a bang-up job for her family on all the signage.

We have three teas that people love throughout the year, but especially when the crispness of autumn is in the air…

CINNAMON TOAST. This is an herbal (caffeine free) which contains nothing but straight cinnamon bark. A natural sweetness makes you think that sugar has been added, but it is pure goodness. (Upper right)

MAMA’S APPLE PIE. This is a blend of black and green teas with apple bits and cinnamon, and will bring you home to the smell of freshly baked pie in your mama’s oven. (Lower right)

PUMPKIN SPICE. This is a pu-erh which means it’s been aged. There is a certain woodsiness to pu-erh, but the overall experience just brings autumn to life in your cup. (Lower left)

Happened to glance at our work phone just now and saw this adorable text and pic!

A lovely customer in Marion ordered four "Spill the Tea Latte Kits" and they wanted to let me know they arrived ok...we had our concerns as to sending flasks of syrup via USPS so we appreciate the feedback.

Looks like two cuties have everything they need to make Autumn Apple Spice and Salted Caramel Delight and Sweet Punkin Pie.

Love seeing their smiles...

It’s Cellar’s C***r Season!

We take an apple chai and blend it with our cranberry apple herbal and then we steep it in apple c***r rather than hot water and you’ve got fall in a cup.

We’ve got numerous calls and messages about whether or not we’re carrying it so I will give you the link in this post, but please know it is considered a fruity herbal on our website.

An easy recipe for when family comes over is heating up a half gallon apple c***r on your stove top and slipping 1/2 cup of the tea blend into a steeping bag and just slipping it into the pot for six or seven minutes. Wanna make a gallon? Use one cup of the tea blend in a steeping bag.

Enjoy for hours! And Happy Fall to all!

She orders faithfully from Michigan. This time her order included a note. A note that was so endearing...

So I asked if I could post it. She replied with a bit of a back story...

She started coming to the Tea Cellar in 2016. The year we opened. She was going to UNI.

Now she's all grown up. Living and working in Michigan. But we knew her when...

When you order online and request local pick up, we text you.
When you've ordered more than once, we put your name in our contacts to expedite the process.
When you order 13 times, we're thinking we should put you on speed dial...

13 times. 13 orders. That's how many times Helen Jareczek of Cedar Falls has ordered tea since January!

Whether she knows it or not, when we get notified of an incoming order from her, either I or my daughter Lizzy will yell from the office to the bagging room, "We're getting another order in from Helen!"

So this week I thanked her for loving our tea and asked if I could peek inside her home and see her collection.

Meet Helen. And her tea. Our tea. She drinks it hot and iced in the summer and she even sends it to her son in Kentucky who is a professor who shares it with his students. Nice!

Not sure if Helen is going for some record, but we'll be here for as long as she has cupboards to fill with our tea...one order at a time.

We've been out of Blackberry Papaya most of the summer so we have skipped over this flavor. Please know that we will be winding down with our tea lemonade production soon but wanted to get this on the shelf for you.

32 oz bottles and half gallons are available. Please know this tea lemonade can be frozen and consumed later...
