Breakfast 8am-11am Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm Sat & Sun. Pub w/ light bites open 11am-1pm M-F, 4pm-9pm M-Sa. Once a stagecoach stop, now a beautifully restored village inn and pub in downtown Waterbury, known for outdoor recreation and a fabulous food and craft beer scene. Many restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. Minutes from skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paddling, fly fishing and more. Extravagant breakfast, fiber wifi, and onsite parking included. Great for families and small groups, or for remote "workcations." Each room is unique - choose a room in the main building for more historic decor, or opt for one of our more contemporary suites which offer small kitchens and seating areas. As you wind down from your day's activities, grab one of our daily cookies and a beverage from the pub, a game or book from the parlor, and relax with friends new and old by our fire in winter or on our lovely porch and deck in warmer months. The mornings in Waterbury have turned crisp, and the ridges around town are starting to show real color.

Fall is one of our favorite times of year here in the Green Mountains, and this month we have two guides to help you make the most of it. First, we’re sharing our guide to leaf peeping around Waterbury, with our favorite hikes, drives, and c***r stops along the way. We also have a family guide filled with nearby orchards, corn mazes, and other fall favorites, plus a peek inside our roomy two-bedroom suite that makes a great home base when traveling with kids.

We have also listed a number of upcoming fall events happening in and around Waterbury, from a peak-foliage arts festival in Stowe to an evening of spooky Vermont storytelling just down Main Street and a cozy book retreat right here at the inn.

These moody fall days remind us just how special our corner of Vermont can be 🍂 The colors are lighting the mountains on fire, our parks are surrounded by glowing trees, and we know this is just the beginning!

Vermont is expected to enjoy a long foliage season that stretches well into October and we couldn't be more excited!

Step outside the front porch of our Vermont bed and breakfast at 5:00 am, and Waterbury feels like a completely different world. The streets are quiet, the stars are just beginning to fade, and the mountains around the village are still dark.

Catching a Vermont sunrise is an experience you won’t forget, and staying with us puts you right in the center of the best viewpoints in the area. You don’t necessarily have to climb a 4,000-foot peak to enjoy it, either. From reflections on Waterbury Reservoir to views from a mountain gap, there are plenty of ways to watch the sun come up.
