Jose has been part of the Vail Chophouse family since the very beginning. His story started in the kitchen at just 14 years old, washing dishes and learning the business from the ground up. Through years of hard work, talent and a true love for cooking, he worked his way to Executive Chef.

A Texas native who made the Vail Valley home, Jose finds inspiration in Colorado, his family and the changing mountain seasons. You can see a little of that story in every plate he creates. 🥩🍷✨
