We're at the West Lionshead Plaza Bus Stop in Concert Hall Plaza next to Moe's BBQ and Alpen Dogs. r parties are usually around 20-30 minutes even when there's a line on the busiest days.. We do not take reservations, seating is on a first come first served basis. Please feel free to sign-in on our electronic waitlist online before arrival. The Waitlist.me sign-in/ wait-list kiosk located in the entryway. Please check-in in with the host when you arrive. The Little Diner serves up quality hot fresh food to order quickly, but it is not fast food. So, please do not be mad at us if it takes an extra minute or two to prepare your meal- we really do try our best! Please no outside beverages allowed, we proudly serve Farmer Brothers Premium Columbian Roast Coffee & Espresso as well as finely crafted cocktails & microbrews. Parking is only available at the Lionshead Parking Structure for all the businesses in Lionshead (5-7 min. bus ride on the "Intown" shuttle). The Little Diner in Vail, CO has been a cornerstone of our community since 2008, serving breakfast and lunch year-round and dinner during the busy tourist seasons. We pride ourselves on scratch-made comfort food using family recipes and the best locally sourced ingredients. Our regular customers—locals and visitors alike—have become part of our extended family, and many of our dedicated staff have been with us since the very beginning. We do our best to offer them great compensation, benefits, and even housing, because their hard work and hospitality are the heart of our business.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when our landlord passed away and the building we call home was sold. Thankfully, our new landlord, who is redeveloping the property, has offered us a chance to purchase a new space in the same location. This is a tremendous opportunity for us to stay in the community we love, continue serving our loyal customers, and eventually pass the business on to our daughters, who already love helping out at the diner.

The funds raised will help us make a down payment on the new space and purchase any equipment we need to keep The Little Diner running and growing. We want to keep providing the food and service our community has come to love, and maybe even expand to offer catering, après ski, and more dinner options. If you can’t donate, we would be so grateful if you could share our fundraiser and help spread the word. Your support means everything to us, and together we can make sure The Little Diner remains a part of Vail for years to come!

Once the redevelopment of our building came to light back in the fall many people have been asking us how they can help- especially with all the other happenings around town. Concert Hall Plaza will be torn down May 1st, 2027 and unless we can raise the funds needed to stay in Lionshead the diner will cease to exist. There are simply no better options other than trying to remain here in the new building.

Our goal is to secure funding to be able to purchase the commercial space in the new Concert Hall development (now named the Apogean) when it is rebuilt. By owning our space and having the developer build it to suit we will be able to guarantee the diner will be here for future generations!

April 8th was our 18th anniversary and we couldn’t have thought of a better time to kick off our crowdfunding campaign! Your support is very much needed! It seems like a big ask for a lot of money, but if everyone that loves our diner just gave “a little” we would meet our goal to make a down payment on the space we need well before the building gets torn down.
