AWC Tulsa Throwback! We recently uncovered this wonderful newspaper feature from the past called, "Spotlighting Oklahomans - Oklahomans Who Have Found Their Own Special Way to Shine," highlighting one of our incredible AWC Tulsa members, Kat Eller Murray.

Even more inspiring? More than 30 years later, Kat is still making a difference through the Lemon-Aid Project, the nonprofit she founded in 1994. Her dedication to serving others is a beautiful reminder that one person's passion can create a lasting impact.

We love celebrating the amazing women who continue to inspire our community from then and now.

Today, AWC Tulsa and our Board of Directors are remembering the remarkable life of Jorja Jacobs.

Jorja was a valued member of our organization whose presence made every room brighter. She was dynamic, sassy, witty, and fiercely intelligent, with a heart as big as her personality. She had a special gift for making people laugh, putting others at ease, and making everyone feel welcome. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jorja's spirit will be deeply missed, and her warmth, laughter, and friendship will never be forgotten.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched during this difficult time.
