It’s always so funny to me how folks haven’t gotten the memo that “go woke, go broke” isn’t a thing.
Every time we host this fundraiser, we receive a barrage of MAGA troll threats of a counter protest that never materializes all while we have a line out the door all day raising thousands of dollars for a cause we believe in.

We’ve been “cancelled” by these goofballs multiple times and we are still here, busier than ever. Boohoo, boycott my business, I don’t want your money anyways and I don’t want to feed you.

At the end of the day, we are going to be here raising money to support immigrants in need of legal aid regardless of their status, baking biscuits, cheesecake, and saying CHINGA TU MAGA, CHINGA LA MIGRA, Y CHINGA a DONALD TRUMP

As always, our event will be secure and safe.
These poor lost souls won’t scare us.

AND THIS TIME the Bans these Biscuits are against, are the BANS ON HUMAN BEINGS AND THEIR LEGAL RIGHTS

We want to make this our BIGGEST EVENT EVER to celebrate this being the BIG 10th EVENT we are doing TWO FULL DAYS

Dante, my husband and co-owner is a FIRST GENERATION Mexican American. As a Latino owned business, we are proud to bring back our fourth SLICE against ICE. Proceeds from cheesecake slices will be donated to Tacoma based AIDNW and proceeds from biscuits to Seattle based Northwest Immigrant Rights Project who both provide advocacy for immigrants in detention and upon their release

We launched Biscuits Against Bans during our very first month open, over 4 years ago. We did it as an act of protest. Just like starting Side Piece was an act of protest: our existence has always been political. There is nothing neutral about our survival of intersectional issues, opening a business in the middle of it, and hiring people from the same communities this country keeps trying to erase.

Pre-sale begins RIGHT NOW TONIGHT

A little short notice but considering how fast these seatings sell out every time, we hope that the lack of pre-announcement helps to slow the sale a bit.

Discounted pre-sale tickets will be available until Friday 8/28 at 8am (or until they sell out) and then general on sale prices will begin at 6 pm that same day pending remaining ticket amounts

Very limited seats, nah we ain’t posting the menu before tickets go on sale, yes the menu is going to be killer

$215/seat general on sale
