Our Stroopwafel & Coffee Bar starts with 54% dark chocolate mixed with finely ground JBC Coffee Roasters coffee and cinnamon, then we press pieces of The Lancaster Stroopie Co stroopwafels into the back for a little crunch and that classic caramel-cinnamon flavor. Coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, and caramel? Come on. 🤎

We also love that The Lancaster Stroopie Co is about more than making delicious treats. Their mission is to provide meaningful employment to resettled refugee women in Pennsylvania, and we’re happy to support a company doing good things while making something delicious!

It’s been a week. To say the least. 😅

First, our small tempering machine decided it was done working. So now she’s getting boxed up and sent off for repairs. 📦

Then I headed to Madison to get everything ready for our opening Friday… only to discover that our chocolate case was blowing HOT AIR. 😭🍫 Not exactly what we’re looking for in a chocolate case.

So, what does this mean for the time being?

🤎 There will be a little less white chocolate + milk chocolate around, since our large tempering machine is dedicated to dark chocolate.

📍 And in Madison, keep an eye out for a BUNCH of oopsie bags of bonbons that got a little too warm yesterday while they were hanging out in the hot case. They’re still delicious, just… not looking quite as pretty as we’d like and a bit softer than normal 😂

Basically, everything is fine. Everything is definitely fine. 🙃

A little bar makeover!

Our White Chocolate Raspberry Bar is getting an upgrade!

If you’ve had this bar before, you may remember the freeze-dried raspberries were sprinkled on the back. From now on, we’re mixing those raspberries throughout the chocolate for even more raspberry flavor in every bite. 🤤

We do still have some of the old version on the shelf, so we’ll need to sell those first… BUT if you ask nicely, I might just let you get one of the new ones. 😉

A white chocolate shell filled with cinnamon caramel, brown butter ganache, and a Biscoff crunch — basically all the best parts of a cozy cinnamon bun, tucked into one little bonbon. 🤎
