Soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, desserts! What more could you possibly want from a great eatery located in Downtown Springfield?! Yes all of these things can be found on the menu at St. Michaels Restaurant and Italian Catering!
✨The NY Yankee Burger: a burger, top with sliced jalapeños and cheddar cheese. If you are a lover of a big ol pile of jalapeños, like my wife is, this is the burger for you! It’s cheesy, slightly spicy, plus you have the rest of the fresh lettuce and tomato on top, an all-around great cheeseburger.
✨The Steel Pier: a classic bacon cheeseburger, which is exactly what my teenager absolutely loves. The more bacon you can pile onto a burger the happier that kid’s face is gonna be! Plus, the basket of fries for dipping into some ranch made for a great lunch!
✨ Spicy toasted cheese ravioli: everything can be elevated when you add just a little bit of heat to it. Dipping these little crispy morsels into that savory marinara is a great appetizer, a cheesy appetizer!
✨ House made chicken salad wrap: I love a good chicken salad so when I seen this was on the menu and I noticed some of the wraps coming out of the kitchen, I knew it needed to be mine! The chicken salad was creamy, savory and seasoned well, the crunch from the lettuce made for great bites!
✨Soup of the day: beef and vegetable soup thanks for the perfect pairing with any sandwich. Their beef and vegetable soup had meatballs, tomatoes, carrots, beans, perfectly sippable!
✨Banana Cake: they have such a great selection of cake, and it was hard to not order the German chocolate, but my wife had never had the banana cake so that was the nail in the coffin! It’s soft, and sweet, with perfect banana flavor. Like eating a great banana bread with the perfect amount of frosting on top!
If you have yet to visit St Michael’s in downtown Springfield let this be the sign that you deserve banana cake, soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches, in your life!
